Duties/Pligte
- Voorbereiding van programinligting wat benodig word om in werwingsmateriaal te plaas;- Voorbereiding van inligting vir die opdatering van aansoekvorms;- Hulpverlening met die opdatering van programinligting en data op die stelsel en ander platforms;- Verskaf toelatingsinligting aan die betrokke belanghebbendes;- Hulpverlening met die opdatering van inligting rakende keuringskriteria;- Verwerk aansoeke en verwys na die toepaslike Departemente in die Fakulteit;- Verwerk keuringsbesluite;- Genereer en reik toelatingsbriewe aan aansoekers uit;- Hulpverlening met die opdatering van registrasie-inligting en programdata met goedgekeurde inligting;- Hulpverlening met die voorbereiding, bewaring en opdatering van program
- en module-brosjures;- Verskaf terugvoering oor die registrasieproses en verwante kwessies;- Hulpverlening met registrasie en ander pligte soos vereis tydens registrasie;- Verwerk modulekredietoordrag
- en -vrystellingsaansoeke;- Laai die Senaatsbesluite soos geïdentifiseer;- Laai van assesseringspunte soos benodig;- Vaslegging van puntwysigings;- Gaan studente se rekords na vir korrektheid na registrasie (voortsettings-evaluerings);- Kontroleer akademiese rekords - evalueer of studente aan al die vereistes van die betrokke graad voldoen;- Identifisering van cum laude-gevalle;- Voorbereiding van hertoelatingsaansoekdokumente vir voorlegging aan die Hertoelatingskomitee en hantering van korrespondensie ná vergaderings;- Opstel van nagraadse tesisdokumente en voorlegging daarvan aan eksterne eksaminatore;- Betaling van moderators en nagraadse eksterne eksaminatore;- Hulpverlening met die voorbereiding van die graduleringslys en aanbiedingskaarte;- Dienslewering tydens gradeplegtighede;- Hulpverlening met die opdatering van fakulteitskalenders en ander amptelike institusionele dokumente, asook die webwerf;- Hantering van instap
- e-pos-en telefoniese navrae, asook navrae via ander platforms soos operasioneel vereis;- Skakel met afdelings en akademiese departemente binne die US soos operasioneel vereis;
- Onderneem spesiale projekte en ad hoc-pligte soos deur lynbestuurders opgedra.
- Assisting with collating programme information required for inserting into recruitment material;- Assisting with the updating of programme information and data on the system and other platforms;-
- Providing admission information to relevant stakeholders;-
- Assisting with the updating of information relating to selection criteria;Processing selection decisions;-
- Generating and issuing admissions letters to applicants;-
- Assisting with the updating of registration information and programme data with approved information;-
- Assisting with the preparation, storing and updating of programme and module brochures;-
- Providing feedback on the registration process and related issues;-
- Assisting with registration and other duties as required during registration;Uploading Senate resolutions as identified;-
- Uploading marks as required;-
- Capturing changes to marks;-
- Checking student records for correctness after registration (progression checks);-
- Checking academic records - evaluating whether students meet all the requirements of the relevant degree;-
- Identifying cum laude cases;Preparing postgraduate theses examination documentation and submitting it to external examiners;-
- Payment of moderators and postgraduate external examiners;-
- Assisting with the preparation of the graduation list and presentation cards;-
- Graduation service provision during graduation ceremonies;-
- Assisting with the updating of faculty calendars and other official institutional documents, as well asthe website;Liaising with divisions and academic departments within the SU as operationally required;- Undertaking special projects and ad hoc duties as assigned by line managers.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes
- Toepaslike B-graad- Drie jaar toepaslike werkservaring in hoëvlakadministrasie, verkieslik in'n hoëronderwysinstelling of 'n pos wat 'n soortgelyke vaardigheidsvereiste benodig;- Rekenaarvaardigheid in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint en Outlook), asook webgebaseerde programme;- Sterk interpersoonlike en kommunikasievaardighede minstens in Engels;- Kliëntediens-oriëntasie met 'n hoë vlak van diplomasie, emosionele intelligensie en persoonlike integriteit;- Uitstekende organiserings-, beplannings
- en multitaakvaardighede;- Die vermoë om akkuraat en effektief onder druk te funksioneer;- Probleemoplossingsvaardighede en kritiese denkvermoë;- Noukeurige aandag aan detail en akkuraatheid;- Die vermoë om 'n hoë mate van vertroulikheid te handhaaf;- Die vermoë om onafhanklik te werk.
- Relevant Bachelor's degree;- Three years' work experience in high-level administration, preferably in a higher education institution or a position requiring a similar skill set;Strong interpersonal and communication skills at least in English;-
