Accounts Clerk

**We are looking for an Accounts clerk to join the finance team, Company based in the New Germany area. This individual must be able to meet deadlines, work under pressure and reporting to the financial accountant.**

Ultimately, a successful Accounts Clerk will ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively. **Please ensure a comprehensive CV is submitted and has references.**

**Essential Requirements**:

- Grade 12 with accounting attach results (non-negotiable)
- A qualification in finance will be an advantage
- 1 -2 years experience in a similar role
- Strong reconciliation skills in excel
- Pastel Evolution experience an advantage
- Computer literate (non-negotiable)
- Deadline driven
- Be able to work under pressure
- Must be punctual
- Attention to detail
- Telephone etiquette
- Able to communicate within a team and other departments

**Responsibilities**:

- Invoicing, quotes, pro-formas
- Debtors &creditors
- Participate in internal audit processes when required
- Processing of invoices, journals etc
- Follow-up with queries
- Assisting at stock takes
- Answering the phone and greeting clients when necessary
- Ad hoc

Salary offered R8500 basic +provident fund.

**Working hours 7:30am to 4:30pm (Monday to Friday), as well as working one Saturday a month 8am to 12pm.**
