We are looking for a **Bookkeeper **to join the finance team, company based in the New Germany area. This individual must be able to meet deadlines, work under pressure and reporting to the financial accountant.

Ultimately, a successful Bookkeeper will ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively. **Please ensure a comprehensive CV is submitted ,has references and at least 2 years experience with the following responsibilities**:

- Invoicing, quotes, pro-formas
- Reconciliation of cost of sales on excel
- Debtors &creditors
- Participate in internal audit processes when required
- Processing of invoices, journals etc
- Cashbooks
- Add payments to the bank
- Follow-up with queries
- Assisting at stock takes
- Ad hoc

**Essential Requirements**:

- Grade 12 with accounting attach results (non-negotiable)
- A qualification in finance
- 2 years minimum experience in a similar role
- Strong reconciliation skills in excel
- Pastel Evolution experience an advantage
- Computer literate (non-negotiable)
- Deadline driven
- Excel experience (non -negotiable)
- Be able to work under pressure
- Must be punctual
- Attention to detail
- Telephone etiquette
- Able to communicate within a team and other departments (solid written and verbal communication skills)

**Working hours 7:30am to 4:30pm (Monday to Friday), as well as working one Saturday a month 8am to 12pm.**
