- To ensure the smooth running of the production department, for maximum output that timeously and safely meets customer and quality requirements

**Brief Description**
- Lead department/s under your control in a manner that will ensure that targets are met within the given lead-time and at the quality standard set by the directors and management, and expected by our customers
- Manage and schedule work in accordance with the Production Plan
- Ensure machinery and equipment is looked after by staff & any machine defects are logged on the E-works system timeously.
- Day-to-day management of subordinates
- Plan, select, develop and maintain resources and capabilities
- Spearhead and manage production / branding improvement processes
- Maintain effective discipline in the department under your control
- Ensure that safe practices are implemented and monitored on a continuous basis
- Contribute to the success of the Production Department and the Company
- Assist in any other areas of the business where your input and assistance is required**Inherent Requirements**

**Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required**
- Branding or Production Management program / qualification and / or qualified by relevant experience of at least three years
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a Management or equivalent role
- Good understanding of world-class branding methodologies, principles and quality systems
- Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S
- Good knowledge of regulatory requirements, including OHS and labour relations
- Above average interpersonal and leadership skills
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of information technology
