Our client, a prestigious manufacturing company located in Johannesburg South, is actively seeking a proficient Manufacturing Production Manager to join their dynamic team and play a crucial role in their continued success. As a Manufacturing Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the technical aspects of manufacturing processes for our client. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring efficient production, maintaining stringent quality standards, and optimizing operational efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years' proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment (non-negotiable).
- In-depth knowledge of the Mining Screening industry.
- Familiarity with Tooling (Dies and Moulds).
- Proficiency in working with Injection Moulding machines.
- Understanding of conveyor belt operations within mining settings.
- Exposure to wire screens, polyurethane screens, and rubber screens.
- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage teams.
- A track record of successfully implementing operational improvements.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Results-oriented mindset with a dedicated focus on achieving targets.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to ensure products adhere to stringent quality standards.
- Assess project requirements and allocate resources efficiently, managing production timelines and schedules effectively.
- Facilitate necessary negotiations for timelines and schedules to ensure smooth workflow.
- Procure essential materials required for production operations.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize disruptions.
- Manage the logistics, warehousing, and inventory of raw materials used in the manufacturing process.
- Lead, guide, and motivate all teams within the production department.
- Implement strategic organizational and production changes on an operational level.
- Drive business growth by introducing operational enhancements to penetrate new markets or expand existing territories.
- Demonstrate strong communication, numeracy, and computer literacy skills (proficiency in the complete Microsoft suite).
- Exhibit exceptional people management skills, effectively mentoring and leading staff.
- Identify potential issues and proactively implement preventive strategies to mitigate risks.
- Foster positive working relationships and build trust across various internal teams.
- Collaborate seamlessly with diverse departments and external suppliers.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach, always prioritizing end-user satisfaction.
- Thrive in a results-driven environment, consistently meeting or exceeding deadlines.
