**Senior Client Executive - Risk Management Practice Mining**
**Role based in Sandton**
**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Responsible for service delivery to the client
- Ensure successful renewal of insurance contracts
- Preparation of budget for client servicing team and understanding the importance of client profitability
- Keep abreast with the insurance markets (both local and overseas)
- Fostering of sound working relationships with other functional business units
- Familiarity and compliance with all company policies, statutory and regulatory requirements
- Extensive travelling to service accounts
- Ensure that technical, claims and service delivery standards are properly implemented for the client in terms of quality management systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of all standards applicable in respect of the client service delivery function
- Ensure all products and services available within Marsh Africa are marketed to the client as appropriate
- Ensure that premiums are collected and properly matched internally.
- Participation on various industry forums
- Assist in developing and mentoring junior staff
- Responsible for expanded sales target, drive growth within clients outside of transactional insurance and cross sell within MMC
**Requirements**:
- Ensure that technical, claims and service delivery standards are properly implemented for the client in terms of quality management systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all standards applicable in respect of the client service delivery function.
- Ensure all products and services available within Marsh Africa are marketed to the client as appropriate
- Be financially astute and capable of negotiating fees
- Ensure that premiums are collected and properly matched internally.
- Participation in the National Client Services Forum and representation on various industry forums as applicable.
- Assist in developing and mentoring junior staff
- Able and willing to travel both nationally and internationally
**Qualification & Experience Required**
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in short term insurance sales and client service delivery function
- Matric & relevant formal qualification and AIISA (or similar)
- Must be FAIS compliant
- Fluent in English
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and a car
