**Marketing Manager**

SILVERAKE TRADING PTY LTD is a successful growing business, comprised of a chain of KFC outlets in KZN and a Head Office in Stanger/KwaDukuza. An opportunity has arisen within the business for an experienced Marketing Manager to fulfil the company’s marketing requirements.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Duties and responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

- Proactively ensure that all design work, advertising, signage, promotions, and activations are done timeously.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding marketing material and ensuring that the best pricing is obtained.
- Initiate marketing campaigns supported by research and recommend promotions of products based on previous promotions, peak periods, and sales analysis.
- Conduct regular store audits to ensure standards are maintained.
- Develop, implement, and control the company’s marketing strategy.
- Create and prepare an annual marketing budget.
- Present marketing stats monthly which includes analysing demand, forecasting sales, and measuring progress of marketing initiatives.
- Manage donations and social development sponsorships.
- Promote team-building initiatives (Soccer and volleyball clubs).
- Develop and distribute a company newsletter.
- Preparation and coordination of company functions, social events, and employee competitions.
- Assist the director with PA/secretarial duties.

**Required Competencies**:

- Excellent attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelors degree in marketing, or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a marketing role.
- Industry experience is an advantage.
- Own vehicle and willing to travel.

**Working Hours**:

- Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
- Occasional store visits in the week / on weekends.

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- KwaDukuza, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
