Liquor Category Manager

PB Liquor Merchants has an exciting opportunity available for an independent, results-driven individual with a proven track record in meeting customer growth and product sales targets, to join their team based in KZN.

Responsibilities will include: *Market development *Planning sales calls, routes and servicing cycles *Customer relationship management *Monitoring & analysing sales performance to identify performance trends *Reporting on results (campaigns, incentive programmes and sales performance), sales management, and providing recommendations for improvement *Monitoring, evaluating, planning and controlling stock levels in the warehouse *Providing input to problem solving in the supply and distribution chain *all other duties related to the role.

**Essential qualifications, skills and experience**:

- Matric;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales in the FMCG industry (including stock planning);
- Excellent reporting skills and computer literacy (MS Office);
- Drivers license and own reliable transport;
- Willingness to work flexible working hours;
- Willingness to travel and work overtime and some weekends (festivals, etc.).

**Advantageous**:

- Experience in wine/liquor sales in the On and/or Off consumption market;
- Knowledge of wine, beer and spirits categories and consumption preferences.
