Store managers are responsible for the day-to-day running of stores. The aim of the store manager is to maximise profits while minimising costs. Store managers should ensure promotions are run accurately and to Fashion Fusion standards. Store managers make sure that staff are all working towards the target for the day and that excellent client service standards are met at all times.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, and training employees.
- Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Achieves financial objectives by analysing variances and initiating corrective action.
- Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
- Ensures availability of merchandise.
- Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans.
- Secures merchandise by implementing security measures.
- Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
- Maintains the stability and reputation of Fashion Fusion by complying with legal requirements.
- Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Providing efficient customer service and communicating clearly and objectively both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritize work; exercise independent judgment, wisdom, common sense, and initiative.
- Thoroughly carry out oral and written instructions.
- Accurately and concisely compile data.
- Perform complex mathematical calculations with speed and accuracy, consolidating petty cash, monthly reports.
- Identify errors quickly; and work independently with minimum supervision.
- Maintain adequate inventory controls.
