Main purpose of job
As content curator, you will be working very closely with the assigned strategist and client services team, getting involved in coming up with new ideas and ensuring content curation and execution are aligned to the brand objective. Creating content that is relevant, targeted, and engaging.
The content curator will, in collaboration with the Strategy, ensure the delivery of:
Content strategy
Content plans
Content calendars
Content role out

You will be required to drive the day-to-day outputs and delivery for all existing clients, as well as new business opportunities. Briefing execution and monitoring performance with relevant teams. Key objectives and outputs of this role will include, but are not limited to

Management of the content plans

Ensuring deadlines are met timeously.
Insuring integration across relevant departments and facilitating collaboration.
Contribute by effecting innovation that builds a positive agency culture, and actively foster or participate in fostering a positive work environment that prioritizes Content deliverables both internally and externally

Content strategy

developing clear and engaging content that is consistent with the client's brand image and addresses both client goals and their consumer needs.
Analysing content marketing data to identify trends and anticipate consumer needs.
Performing content audits to assess how well existing content is performing.
Performing content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed.
Directing content recommendations to strategists, writers, editors, creative teams and ensuring alignment.
Creating, adjusting, and managing the editorial calendar.
Establishing style guides that specify the writing style and tone needed to create engaging content.
Developing a solid understanding of the target audience through strategy department and insights received.
Manage and implement content plans and calendars
Creation of content for social media and websites which are linked to a strategy
Creation of content calendar
Brief for Studio to implement Creative

Research

Develop full and clear understanding of the existing clients and their business
Keeping in-line with digital trends which can be applied to new and existing clients
Maintain a knowledge bank of research for industry verticals
Analyze existing client and user data for strategic insights
Keep up-to-date with our audience’s preferences and proactively suggest new campaigns
Monitor competition and provide suggestions for improvement
Key results
All deadlines are managed effectively and are consistently met.
Ensuring a high quality of work is delivered by the department.
Sound knowledge of content management systems, keyword research tools, social media platforms, SEO and SEM.
Ensure research and innovations are regularly communicated to relevant parties and are solution driven.
Providing creative direction for content creation and assisting internal teams.
Being proactive in identifying key engagement opportunities using target audience insights, trends, and innovations.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
**Sound knowledge of content management systems, keyword research tools, social media platforms, SEO, and SEM.
Must be able to work within deadlines and proactively manage work flow.
