**Job Description**:
To plan, implement and administer all Gaming related Hardware and Software in accordance to NGB Rules and Regulations, Company Policies, Procedures and I.T. Best Practices.
- Monitor the IT Service Desk system for logged incidents;
- Action new incidents within prescribed SLA times;
- Prioritise and resolves incidents, ensuring mínimal disruption to Gaming operations;
- Action incidents handed over from previous shifts;
- Handover unresolved incidents to the incoming shift;
- Communicate efficiently with management regarding incidents
- Check the continuous availability of all Gaming Systems;
- Control that backup and redundant systems are operational and failover from primary Gaming Systems to backup systems can be facilitated at any time;
- Test and verify failover procedures on a monthly basis;
- Identify, report and remedy potential causes of failure proactively.
- Perform Gaming Systems backups in accordance with backup policies and procedures in terms of frequency, data and systems;
- Restore Gaming System backups in accordance with backup and restore policies in terms of frequency, data and systems;
- Verify completeness and accuracy of data both following backups and restores;
- Check that backup media and data are usable in the event of failure / disaster recovery;
- Document each restore event using the relevant forms and documents;
- Assist in defining the requirements for security policies;
- Protect information against unauthorized access and use to ensure confidentiality;
- Check the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of information to ensure integrity;
- Plan security enhancements and implementations and implement such plans;
- Evaluate implemented security measures and test the effectiveness of standards and policies;
- Report on security related incidents and identified risks;
- Propose methods to mitigate identified risks

- Implement new projects successfully in accordance with business and/or IT requirements and vendor guidelines / recommendations / requirements;
- Work closely with all gaming boards for verification after updates / upgrades;
- Install server hardware, software and other IT infrastructure components as required, adhering to Change Control and Release Management procedures.
- Monitor IT infrastructure capacity, including but not limited to Disk / CPU / Memory / Network utilization, to ensure sufficient capacity is available to meet business requirements;
- Undertake tuning activities to make the most efficient use of existing resources;
- Make recommendations in advance to prevent capacity related problems and incidents, allowing for sufficient lead time to plan, procure, test, and implement systems required to mitigate capacity related issues.
