**Safair Operations, operating as FlySafair has a vacancy for an Avionic Specialist at our head office in Bonaero**
**Park. The successful applicant will report to the Manager: Engineering.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **Monitoring of AD's, SB's and SL's and there effectivity to the**

**FlySafair Fleet;**
- **Creating of Engineering Orders for tasks, modifications and or**

**compliance actions to be carried out on the fleet;**
- **Technical input to Fault Analysis and Maintenance for problematic**

**reoccurring defects and or problems;**
- **Compiling and Liaising with the SACAA on modification**
- **Researching various kits and or parts through correct effectiveness**

**for the Flysafair fleet;**
- **Investigating and researching defects through external resources;**:

- **Researching and implementing upgraded components and or**

**systems.**

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- **Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent;**:

- **Exposure to an Engineering work environment would be an**

**advantage;**
- **10 years post qualifying experience in the Aviation Industry in**

**particular Avionics;**
- **Knowledge of the SACAA legislation, as well as Modification**
- **Knowledge and the interpretation of STC data packages, as well as**

**AD's, SB's and or Wiring Diagrams;**
- **Hands on experience in wiring system installations;**:

- **Proficient in Aircraft Documentation;**:

- **Licenced would be an advantage;**:

- **Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook);**:

- **Willingness to work overtime when required;**:

- **Valid Covid-19 vaccination card.**
