Yens Vietnamese Street Food is seeking a dynamic and passionate Front of House Cashier/Supervisor to join our vibrant team in De Waterkant, Cape Town. If you love providing exceptional customer service and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist customers as they enter the restaurant, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Process customer orders efficiently and accurately at the cash register.
- Supervise front-of-house operations, including a team of service staff.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Monitor inventory and stock levels, assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Train and mentor new staff on cash handling procedures, menu knowledge, and customer service best practices.
- Contribute to creating a positive team culture and support overall restaurant operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a cashier or supervisory role in the food and beverage industry is preferred.
- Own reliable transport
- Able to work shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy environment.
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and reconciliation.
- A passion for Vietnamese cuisine and culture would be a plus
