**Senior Creditor Clerk**

**Key duties and responsibilities**:
Full Creditor function consisting of reconciliations and processing of creditors accounts whilst complying with company policies and procedures.
- Accurately capturing of expenses invoices (utility bills, levies, transport, suppliers’ invoices, rental invoices, etc)
- Perform monthly creditor reconciliations of all vendors’ accounts.
- Liaise, communicate and negotiate with suppliers regarding invoice queries, credit queries, payments queries and discrepancies; to resolve these queries in a timeously manner.
- To manage, investigate, resolve the disputes with suppliers in a timeously manner.
- Raise intercompany invoices on the monthly basis.
- Maintain account payable ledger on the weekly and monthly basis.
- Have a good understanding of accruals and cut off dates.
- Investigating and clear old queries on vendor accounts.
- Prepare creditors and COD accounts for payments within the designated timelines
- Preparing remittances and ensuring all payments are captured in ERP system when suppliers’ payments are paid.
- Asset management
- Process import invoices
- Bank reconciliation on all the bank accounts.
- Accurately filing on the daily basis.
- Other bookkeeping duties when required.
- Able to work well with people internally (creditors, management, procurement, site personnel) as well as externally
- Various ad hoc projects/duties that may be required from time to time

**Required Qualifications**:

- Finance Diploma or Degree Qualification (an added advantage)

Required experiences and skills requirements:

- Minimum 3-5 years plus experiences in Senior Creditor Clerk role.
- Advance knowledge of bookkeeping and GL codes.
- Reasonable understanding in Microsoft Excel to reconcile accounts.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Logical and Structured
- Strong Analytical skills and strategic thinker
- Ability to train and communicate on all levels within the organisation
- Ability to operate well under pressure
- Able to accept responsibility and effective decision-making
- Attention to detail
- Mature, self-disciplined, and proactive
- Deadline driven
- Ability to work independently and multitask.
- Flexible in working overtime when required.

**Budget**:

- Market related salary depends on the experiences - R 23 000.00 ~ R 28 000.00

**Availability**:

- ASAP

**Salary**: R23,000.00 - R28,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Boksburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
