HR Business Partner

**Minimum requirements for the role**:
- Must have a Bachelors degree in Human Resources/ Industrial and Organizational Psychology or business related field
- Minimum 5 years HR experience with at least 2 years experience in HR Business Partner role are essential
- Multi-site location client support experience will be an advantage
- Previous experience in coaching employees and management through complex, difficult issues will be required for this role
- Must have a valid drivers license and be willing to travel up to 25% of time
- Strong background and knowledge of labour law is important
- Must have proven knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components to include sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, selling and wage/salary trends
- Partnering with leadership to align HR strategy to business strategy.
- Analysing trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Managing talent acquisition and talent pipeline to ensure that current and future staffing requirements are met.
- Participating in annual budget planning/labour forecasting process with business partners.
- Co-facilitating New Employee Orientation for new hires.
- Leading and /or supporting annual HR Cycle deliverables to include performance management, merit and bonus awards.
- Evaluating issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solution and program designs i.e. training to address certain needs.
- Partnering with Payroll, HRIS and Compensation and Benefits functions as needed to provide solutions for clients.
- Partnering with Regional Head of Human Resources and appropriate company leaders to grow the capacity of the organizations key talent to include high potential identification (via Talent Management) and associated development programming, etc.
- Working with Shop Stewards, facilitating relationship with unions and maintaining labour relations in plants where unions are present.
- Maintaining accurate records of all development process information into a data base.
- Responsible for the submission of the monthly updated reports to the relevant stakeholders.
- Planning and implementing processes, SOPs and guidelines for formulation development.
- Training and developing employees based on identified training needs in accordance with the Workplace Skills Plan.
- Ensuring Performance Appraisals are conducted as per Company Policy.
- Ensuring general discipline in the department and ensuring corrective action is taken on all misconduct incidents.
- Adhering to all HR policies, procedures and requirements to ensure sound people practices.
**Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
