**_Our client in the sheet metal manufacturing industry is urgently looking to employ an experienced Production Manager at their organization_**

- Wynberg, Gauteng_

**_Requirements:_**
- _ Degree/Diploma in Production/Operations and Productivity Management_
- _ 5-10 years of experience as a Production Manager within the sheet metal industry_
- _ Advanced working understanding of the Amada software suite of CAD/CAM packages_
- _ Advanced working understanding of the Amada laser, turret punch, automation, and press-brake machinery_
- _ Advanced understanding of sheet metal technical characteristics specifically focused on design, cutting, and bending processes._
- _ Solidworks Advanced Certificate_
- _ Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience_

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- _ Ensure goods and services are produced safely, cost-effectively and on-time meeting the required quality standards. _
- _Oversee the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations._
- _ Plan and draw up a production schedule_
- _ Ensure that the production will be cost-effective by estimating costs and negotiating and agreeing on budgets with procurement and managers_
- _ Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed_
- _ Monitor productivity rate and product standards and implement quality control programmes_
- _ Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing department_
- _ Select equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance (arrange repair of any damaged equipment)_
- _ Liaise with different departments and teams_
- _ Ensure customer orders are completed on time and that quality targets are met (budget)_
- _ Collect and analyze data, putting together production reports for Supervisors and Managers_
- _ Supervise and motivate a team of workers and drive performance through KPIs_
- _ Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times_
