**Job Desciption**:
**On the Dot**, a subsidiary of Novus Holdings in **Gauteng**, currently requires the services of a **Debtors Clerk**.

We seek to appoint a dynamic and energetic individual to assume responsibility as **Debtors Clerk**, reporting to the **Debtors** **Team Lead**.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Capture data on the debtors’ system;
- Follow up and report daily on outstanding documentation required from relevant departments (eg sales) to meet deadlines;
- Prepare and capture journals
- Matching of claims to credit notes.
- Requesting pods and credit notes from the branches.
- Prepare reconciliations of customer accounts as requested.
- Following up on pricing claims.
- Prepare files for handover to external debt collectors
- Assist with allocating payments when required.
- Assist with sending statements when required.
- Any other ad hoc requests as per managements requirements.

**Educational Requirements**:

- Grade 12

**Experience Requirements**:

- At least 2 -3 years’ experience in debtors administration
- General knowledge of Accounting

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Good written communication skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Good telephone etiquette
- Good problem-solving ability
- Pressure resilience
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Excellent excel knowledge.
