**Location: Johannesburg (Zenex)**:
**Purpose of the Job**:
Provide functional support for marketing design requirements linked to all Brand strategies for both Direct and Indirect Marketing Channels.

**What you will be doing**:
BRANDING COMPLIANCE
Ensure adherence to relevant branding policies and procedures through liaison with appointed marketing agency to ensure all collateral are developed as per Engen brand guidelines.
Working closely with CMO team to ensure all design is in line with CI guidelines
PROMOTIONS DESIGN
Lead design include developing the overall creative elements of a project, overseeing the creation of art and ensuring that the final product matches the original design concept.
Deploy and implement strategic objectives and promotions as per the marketing calendar.
Provide design support for larger Lubricants team.
TRADE MARKETING DESIGN
Oversee the progress of creative projects and manage key design facets of production, including brainstorming, ideation, brand management etc.
Adhere to industry best practices and design specifications.
PROCUREMENT & ADMINISTRATION
Liaise with all suppliers of promotional material in support of marketing initiatives.
Provide administration and procurement support through management of quotations and purchase orders.
Establish and maintain a strong relationship with Procurement Department to deliver best quality & price for Trade Marketing.
Ensure quality administration of purchasing orders and exercise SAP accountability

Baseline:

- NQF level 6 (Diploma in Sales & Marketing or relevant)
- 5 years’ experience in marketing and design
- Extensive experience in a trade marketing environment
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, graphic design, print, motion graphics, branding, UX design and effective story telling.

Advantageous:

- NQF Level 7 (Degree in a relevant field)
- Submission of portfolio of work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Big picture thinker with strong attention to detail
- Persuasive and articulate when it comes to directing or presenting, inspiring confidence and trust in colleagues.
- Hands on and self-motivated

**Exciting challenges you might face**:

- Working with and supporting a dynamic Lubricants Sales team infield
- Exposure to the Lubes business sectors i.e. High Street Auto Specialists/Independent workshops/Engen Service stations/Distributors/ Agriculture/ Mining/ Fleet
- Attending Trade shows/events
- Frequent Occasional travel mainly in RSA and occasionally inon rare occasion in SSA
