Trade Marketing Manager

Job Purpose
- The purpose of the role is to provide a holistic Trade Marketing service in line with brand and channel needs, to deliver against brand and commercial objectives and ultimately provide world class consumer trade experiences.
- Key
**Responsibilities**:
- Development of the trade marketing strategy & plan in collaboration with key stakeholders in commercial and marketing-
- Execute point of sale and promotional plans in line with annual business/brand projects as well as customer marketing plans and category solutions-
- Ensure close alignment to brand companies in terms of Trade Marketing global best practices as well as global POS designs and solutions-
- Facilitate the flow of information between the marketing, channel, field sales and operations teams to deliver against brand and commercial objectives.-
- Manage a detailed CPA process from brand planning concept to delivery and deployment, including providing regular updates to the business and key stakeholders-
- Track L3F investments and monitor impact. Implement learnings and make recommendations-
- Share best practice within the organization- Key Interactions- Key internal interactions include the Commercial Leadership, Key Account managers, Area Sales Directors, Sales Managers, Brand Marketing, Procurement and Operations.-
- Key external interactions include agencies (e.g. Shopper, Creative, activations, promotions), key account customers and outlet owners-
- Brand owners and Brand companies- Commercial Strategy & Planning
- Ability to implement and align to the commercial plan, taking into account the short
- and long-term view:
- Define and monitor short to long term TM business plan and priorities: growth opportunities, objectives, actions, resources; at channel, customer and brand levels-
- Set KPIs, to monitor TM activities and monitor commercial performance at channel, customer and brand level.- Business Intelligence
- Ability to get a deep understanding of the market - competitors, channels, categories & customers - to transform it into business opportunities:
- Get a deep understanding of the market dynamics - direct / indirect competition, channels, customers - by collecting & analyzing internal / external information, data, and trends, using digital tools when relevant-
- Monitor competitive intelligence.-
- Identify and define business opportunities and key drivers of growth-
- Identify risks and opportunities of market changes (competitors moves, new channel development, changes in legal and regulations).- Experience Activation
- Ability to implement the different actions of the touchpoint plan, traditional and digital, in order to create memorable experiences, generate preference for our brands and advocacy.- Manage the in-trade activations and experiences including promotional activities, campaigns, concepts, assets, creative and content proposals - incl multi-media campaigns, customer social media campaigns, for each touchpoint, to maximize propagation of word of mouth, trial, and sales.-
- Evaluate and monitor progressively the performance of the activations and experiences and adjust actions accordingly.- Negotiation
- Ability to manage customers’ needs and requests through appropriate negotiation cycle and techniques, in order to achieve global business objectives:
- Understand complex customer’s business stakes, environment, needs and challenges in the negotiation process.-
- Use negotiation resources and techniques to reduce gap between customer’s demand and business objectives, in line with the commercial strategy.-
- Identify win-win states and common interest grounds to establish customer partnerships.-
- Anticipate customer’s behaviors, changes, risks / opportunities, or conflicts and adapt the negotiation cycle (process, style) accordingly.- Project Management
- Ability to plan and organize diverse tasks in a transversal project, managing and maximizing performance of project teams (internal & external), to achieve objectives in time:
- Define and plan a project: scope, objectives, responsibilities, planning, KPIs, resources-
- Manage a project: resources and planning monitoring, cost and risks evaluation-
- Foster collaboration, coordinate and motivate project team members, to maximize the team performance-
- Engage stakeholders around the project and get their buy-in: communication and promotion of the project within organizational culture.- Influencing & Partnering
- Ability to establish and develop trusting and impactful relationships with internal and external stakeholders:
