You will be responsible for managing and controlling sportsbook risk and trading processes. Your key **job** responsibilities as the **iGaming Risk & Trading Specialist in Johannesburg** will include:

- Improve product offering to make it more attractive to players
- Management of bets, odds and offered matches / markets depending on the betting activity and the information of the global betting market
- Maintain and execute sport-specific risk policies in order to ensure compliance with risk parameters
- Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on sports and punters in order to determine growth and performance of the sportsbook
- Continuously monitor prices/market trends, client profiles and profitability of various sports markets, ensuring all books remain competitive
- Report “unprofitable customers” to Sportsbook manager after monitoring, analysis and profiling customers
- Manage and control bet limits across all sports categories and markets, ensuring the best possible outcome, whilst remaining competitive within the industry
- Hedge wise guy bets by taking back bets from other book makers in order to reduce exposure after consultation with the Sportsbook manager
- On a daily basis, monitor risks in order to prevent over exposure on specific sports and markets and decide where to move markets or change betting limits and prices
- Collaborate with marketing in integrating sports betting and bonusing with marketing campaigns
- Determine relevant sports betting bonuses and “bet-boosts” for relevant market segments, based on customer’s trading history and behaviour, sporting preferences
- Communicate and monitor the effectiveness of bonusing tools on customer behaviour, making adjustments where relevant
- Analyze results and report on applied bonusing tools; making recommendations for future opportunities and risks

Requirements for this **iGaming Risk & Trading Specialist job in Johannesburg**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position
- Sportsbook management fundamentals
- Experience in **online casino** management fundamentals
- Deep understanding of sport modelling / betting modelling
- Must have **online casino** & betting experience
- Demonstrated leadership
- Presentation skills
- Good computer literacy
