Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Management System ("HSE Management System") - Assist with implementation and maintenance of the HSE Management System; - Ensure appropriate information is made available for management reviews; - Keep all records safe and available for inspection; - Hold health and safety meetings at regular intervals and provide the manager with minutes thereof; - Provide the information to enable management to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the HSE Management System; - Assist in conducting internal audits as per audit schedule; - Assist in conducting external audits; - Assist in coordinating revisions, updating, approval, consultation and distribution of standard instructions, task procedures, Codes of Practice, rules, managerial instructions, risk assessments, exemptions, approvals and permissions. - Assist in ensuring that the health and safety policy is distributed and complied with. Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment - Assist and where appropriate, carry out baseline, issue based and continuous HIRAs. - Consider the various hazards within area of responsibility (geographical and functional) and ensure that these are taken into account in determining the baseline HIRA. - Follow the procedures which have been designed following issue based HIRAs. - Carry out issue based HIRAs, where each HIRAs have not been provided. - Ensure that all direct reports, carry out mini-risk assessments before tasks are carried out. - Implement measures determined necessary to address the identified hazards and the assessed risks. - Review the hazards identified and risks assessed on a periodic basis. - Conduct investigations in cooperation with the health and safety representative responsible for the working place where an accident or incident has occurred.
