**Responsibilities**

Talent Specialist responsibilities include:

- Manage end-to-end process of sourcing, recruitment and selection and delivering top talent as per agreed benchmarks
- Conduct recruitment and selection process in accordance with the relevant guidelines and legislation to maintain the quality and integrity of the process
- Collaborate with peers by sharing CVs and finding alternative placements for top talent in IT
- Drive utilisation of various sourcing channel methods through a central function
- Develop, implement and manage sourcing strategies, plans and tactics to effectively source IT talent
- Identify, manage and drive utilization of sourcing channels/ tools that meet the business requirements and achieve efficiencies
- Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers'' expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate sourcing and recruitment solutions
- Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events
- Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill and source of hire
- Perform talent mapping and talent pipelines as a proactive means of adding competitive advantage and mitigating business risk
- Build and report on quarterly and annual hiring plans

**Role Requirements**

**Experience**
- Minimum 5-7 years of IT sourcing experience in a Technology environment (non-negotiable)
- Track record of successfully filling critical/ hard-to-fill IT roles across different technology stacks (non-negotiable)
- Experience in up-to-date sourcing techniques (non-negotiable)
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
- Strong experience in LinkedIn and other social and professional network platforms (non-negotiable)
- Hands-on experience with the largest job sites

**Knowledge**
- Knowledge/ experience of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites (like LinkedIn, Facebook, GitHub and StackOverflow etc.
- South African Legislation pertaining to recruitment

**Skills**
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability work collaboratively with colleagues in the pursuit of organisational goals
- Exceptionally strong organisational skills and focus on details
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
- Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communications skills

**Qualification**
- B Degree (preferred)

**General**
- Drivers license and own transport (Essential)
- Experience working in enterprise organisations (preferred)
- ** Note**: There are 2 roles: 1 to focus on hiring Contractors and the other on Permanent hires (each role requires notable experience in either space) (Essential)
