The position will be based in Wadeville, and the incumbent will report to the Assistant Finance Manager.

**Job Specification (not totally inclusive)**

- Updating Vendor Master, open all vendors on SAP after all SOX approvals have been done and delete all old vendors that have not been used;
- Responsible for ensuring that creditors payments are released timeously, and all recons are checked before release;
- Responsible for ensuring that accrued expenses recon is controlled and submitted monthly to the Finance Manager for review;
- Preparing and analyzing the aging monthly report before reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager ;
- Ensuring that team members are accruing for all expenses not accounted for; with cost centre and general ledger account accuracy;
- Dealing directly with auditors during audits (internal and external);
- Handling account payable queries with vendors and internally;
- Ensuring that invoices are checked, and all approvals are met before payment is released by ALT members; and
- Ensuring that reallocation adjustments, provisions for the month are completed, journalized, and balancing to all Intercompany entities.

**Minimum Skills required**

- Must have a Certificate/Diploma in Finance/Accounting or related;
- At least 8 years accounts payable experience of which 3 years must have been in a team leader role;
- Must understand internal controls and SOX procedures;
- SAP/R3 experience is required, and Ariba exposure advantageous;
- Computer literate in MS office suit (Advanced Excel); and
- Valid drivers license and own transport.

- Flexibility to work after normal working hours when required.
