**Head of Finance South Africa**

Our client is an FMCG company with highly recognizable global brands. Their South African operation is based in Cape Town and they are looking for a Head of Finance to support their goals to achieve the ambitious growth targets. This is a great opportunity to:

Reporting to the Senior FD, EMEA, you will:

- Build highly capable and efficient operating finance team in market to support the both objectives of the function as well as meet the requirements of the business.
- Be an effective and valuable business partner to the General Manager by providing functional support to ensure that the business can deliver against its commercial and financial commitments as well as pro-actively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the EMEA Senior Finance director in delivering a high caliber finance function that can consistently meet the groups requirements in a reliable and efficient manner.

To qualify, you will need:

- Degree qualified with relevant Accounting/Business/Finance qualification.
- 10+ years of diversified finance experience, preferably including experience within a multinational consumer products business.
- Able to work effectively in a matrix management structure
- Commercially astute and able to contribute to tangible commercial outcomes
- Results/outcome orientated management style
- Hands on management style must enjoy working at an operational level and driving the right outcomes
- Strong written and oral communication skills commensurate with the level of the position
- Ability to work effectively cross culturally by developing formal and informal networks
- Self-starter and someone who can identify opportunities/the need for change and take the lead in taking appropriate action
