?? Key Responsibilities

As a Site Agent, you’ll be responsible for:

- Planning and implementing project programmes
- Accurate cost reporting and forecasting
- Full site administration and record management
- Overseeing setting out and surveying activities
- Implementing and maintaining SHEQ protocols
- Leading, mentoring, and managing site staff
- Coordinating construction activities and material logistics

?? Qualifications & Experience
- BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 7 years' experience in a civils construction environment
- Proven ability to lead and manage large scale projects
- Exposure to a diverse range of civil engineering disciplines
- Willingness to work remotely and/or relocate to Cape Town
- NEC experience preferable
- Transnet experience preferable but not essential

?? Knowledge & Skills Required
- Strong understanding of civil construction processes and site trades
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and interpreting construction timelines
- Skilled in site setting out, levelling, and surveying
- Familiar with materials, plant, equipment, and construction admin systems
- Effective team leadership, coaching, and basic IR (industrial relations) practices
- Solid background in cost control and reporting
- Willing and able to take charge and lead sites in remote locations without close supervision
