Position Summary:
The Head of DTC and BI is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of the long-term vision and strategic roadmap for both the DTC and BI business verticals respectively.
The Head of DTC plays a critical role in driving revenue for all BFE brands by leveraging opportunities to sell through all existing DTC channels viz. ecommerce, wine clubs, cellar door and SA Direct. The position is responsible for the identification of strategic growth drivers as it pertains to acquisition, retention, cross-sell, up-sell across the entire BFE portfolio. The Head of Business Intelligence plays a critical role in providing quantitative and qualitative insights to the business which will unlock revenue growth and protect current market share. The Head of Business Intelligence is responsible for end-to-end business reporting in collaboration with all business verticals.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Education Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or Communications
Additional Qualifications Data Analytics preferable
Minimum Work Experience +10 years’ experience in Strategic Marketing Communications
+10 years’ experience in CRM Strategy Design, development and implementation (inclusive of Direct Marketing) Proven experience in managing Business Intelligence tools, process’ and technologies (in conjunction with preferred strategic partners) Experience in managing online sales platforms and/or a call centre, Research skills preferable, Experience in wine/spirit industry would be highly beneficial.

- Strong leadership skills. Previous experience managing a direct and cross-functional team
