Assistant Vice President

An exciting opportunity has become available within the financial services industry, for an Assistant Vice President. The position is based in Dubai, and will be responsible for the administration of a portfolio of companies; partnerships and trusts; working closely with internal and external clients.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Professional qualification or a relevant degree in law or finance
- 3 to 5 years relevant structured finance or fiduciary services experience in financial services
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Experience in structured/asset finance preferred
- Demonstrate a keen interest in marketing and client relations
- Individual must be professional with a strong desire to consistently strive for excellence, taking pride in carrying out their responsibilities efficiently with impeccable execution
- An appreciation for strong corporate governance practices
- Awareness of local and international issues affecting the financial industry
- Energized by a continuous learning environment
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong administrative skills with well-developed critical thinking skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Act as a director on a wide variety of structured finance vehicles including note issues, securitisations,, note programmes, partnerships, ADGM SPVs and share trustee structures, attending board meetings and fulfilling all fiduciary duties as appropriate
- Demonstrate the ability to analyse deal documents, raising any deal/structural issues, managing tight-timelines, dealing with clients and counsel directly all in real time
- Review and assess potential business including detailed review of all related transaction documents and the preparation of fee proposals
- Management of accounts receivable and initial billing for own portfolio
- Ensure regulatory and compliance guidelines are adhered to
- Ensure the proprietary database is completed with accurate data from the take-on point of the client through to closing of the transaction noting relevant transactions dates and annual deliverables including the preparation of annual compliance certificates
- Preparing for execution and distribution of corporate documents
- Maintaining and organising Cayman and Onshore transaction documents in Filesite
- Inputting relevant transaction data into relevant systems
- Updating and ongoing maintenance of share/subordinated note registers
- Preparing transaction structure charts
- Assist with the completion of pre and post-closing checklists
- File set-up/close-out of file
- Initiate, lead or assist with ad hoc projects as necessary
