**Main Responsibilities**

**Purpose of role**:To grow and develop strong relationships with our customers by understanding their

needs, processing quotes and orders correctly and timeously. Offer excellent after sales service.

Maximise Sales opportunities by understanding customer needs through relationship building.
- Growth in sales by customer, through increased sales orders
- Reduction of back orders and queries
- Increase in conversion rate of quotes to Orders
- Reduction in duplication of orders
- Reduction in RMA’s (except where customers no longer requires the item).
- Increase in the number of accounts moved over to online ordering
- Identify the type of customer to increase sales by offering them the full basket of products
- upselling. Notify them of specials and/or promotions.
- Process all customer orders accurately and timely to improved customer satisfaction.
- Regular updates and feedback to customers regarding the status of their orders.
- Regular feedback to customers on status of backorders and inform them of any change in status.
- Send customer backorder report on a weekly basis where customers require this information.

Offer alternatives where possible.
- Manage your quote pipeline through regular follow ups with customers. Follow quotes through to

resolution and close off quote on NetSuite.
- Follow up on RMA’s to ensure transactions are not delayed.
- Professionally handle customer complaints through to resolution timeously.
- Encourage and Promote online ordering
- Record important information on NetSuite
- Keep external sales rep up to date.
- Pass all leads on to external rep
- Be involved in specific tasks from time to time as defined by your supervisor/manager.
- Develop joint business plans with customers for sustainable growths
