**Position Summary**

The Sales Consultant is responsible for achieving sales in an assigned territory. You will be responsible for proactively selling Peleman document binding, branding and presentation solutions. Thanks to over 30 years of research, development and worldwide client feedback, we have a complete range of systems and accessories for our printed presentation needs..

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

To perform this job successfully, the Sales Consultant must be able to perform the following:

- Sourcing new business
- Service customers by selling products and meeting customer needs through building a long standing relationship.
- Service existing customers by doing proper planning and route sheets.
- Growing your own personal database in the relevant area
- The ability to problem solve and implement out of the box thinking to resolve customer needs and challenges
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly work plans, and monthly territory analyses.
- Maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Conducting various training session to customers to keep product relevant.
- Compiling quotations and proposals in a professional manner.
- Planning country trips strategically if/when needed.
- Own reliable vehicle and valid drivers license.

**Qualifications**

**Education/Experience**

**3-5 years** sales experience

Note: “no experience” will not be considered

Matric is essential

**Required Skills**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent verbal communications, spelling and grammar;
- Good operational computing skill (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Internet Browsers);
- Able to work with teammates to ensure seamless customer experience;
- Energetic, confident, presentable, self-starter who works well independently;
- Possesses exceptional attention to detail and is committed to delivering quality output;
- Customer focused approach;
- Meeting sales targets
- Good negotiation and closing skills on all levels
- Territory management
- Source new business
- Willingness to travel should it be required for the available area

Remuneration - Basic salary TCP R 16 000.00 per month and commission, cellphone allowance and capped petrol card.

Pay: R14,000.00 - R16,000.00 per month
