**Job Title**: Procurement Manager

**Job Purpose**:
To manage procurement operations, implement procurement strategies, ensure compliance with procurement regulations, and lead procurement teams to achieve value-driven sourcing outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Oversee procurement activities including tendering, contract management, and supplier engagement.
Develop procurement plans aligned with organizational objectives.
Ensure compliance with legislative frameworks and internal policies.
Conduct market research and supplier assessments to optimize sourcing.
Manage procurement budgets and expenditure tracking.
Provide leadership and coaching to procurement staff.
Coordinate with other departments to forecast and fulfill procurement needs.
Negotiate supplier agreements and contracts to achieve cost savings.
Monitor supplier performance and manage dispute resolution.
Prepare procurement reports for management and audit purposes.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.

**Experience**:
2 years in management and 3 years operational Supply Chain Management experience.

**Education**:
NQF 7 in Commerce, Business, Law, or Supply Chain Management.
Registration with CIPS/SAPICS is required.

**Job Type, Salary & Location**:
This is an 'as and when required' role for a period of twelve (12) months, ideal for a consultant. Hourly rate will apply. Location: OR Tambo Airport/Kempton Park.
