Tourism based company in Franschhoek is looking for a vibrant, friendly and service-oriented barista for our small cafe in Franschhoek.

The individual needs to be passionate about the Hospitality/Tourism industry. They need to be committed to providing the highest level of customer service at all times.

You will be working as part of a exciting team with room to grow.

**Responsibilities**:
Prepare food and drinks orders as per our Cafe Menu

Conduct stock takes

Work with customers

You will be required to complete orders according to SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) adhering to food health and safety regulations.

You may be required to assist on the Point-of-Sale and in the kitchen.

Inform the manager of any stock required within your department and the retail area.

Inform your manager if any equipment is faulty.

**Requirements**:
Barista experience - at least 1 year.

Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.

Must have basic knowledge of a Point-of-Sale system.

Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and/or public holidays.

Fluent in English with strong customer interaction skills.

Be able to work in a professional manner, under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Positive attitude, willingness to learn and hardworking.

Have a reliable means of transport to work.

**Education**:
Matric Certificate

Barista Certification will be an advantage.
