Seeking a highly motivated individual to join a small investment team as a **Senior Operations Manager**.

The focus of the role is to provide the business with operational support across the full Investment Operations spectrum.

This role is based in Cape Town.

This is an Employment Equity designated position.

**Some job functions, duties and responsibilities**:

- Responsible for collaborative efforts between various teams, creating a seamless client experience with efficient, timely and accurate reporting.
- Oversight for systems delivery and implementation of automated processes.
- Oversight of daily operations processes and procedures.
- Awareness of changes to market structure, legislation and regulatory requirements that will impact investment operations.
- Drive implementation of new procedures resulting from market changes.
- Responsible for training and development of investment operations staff.
- Responsible for ensuring timeous implementation and settlement of trades.
- Quarterly reporting to Regulatory authorities.

**Required skills and personal attributes**:

- Business degree in Finance / Accounting / Actuarial Science
- 7-10 years' experience in Investment industry (investment / portfolio administration)
- Advanced Excel
- Independent thinker, communicating effectively, and willing to get hands dirty and get involved broadly as needed in a smaller team.
