**Job Overview**:
The Senior Operations Manager leads and oversees the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that Brightgreen meets and exceeds business objectives while maintaining consistency in all financial and operational KPIs. The SOM evaluates and improves current and proposed operational systems and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce risk. The SOM monitors financial and operational metrics to ensure that organizational goals are met.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate Continuous Improvement across the entire business
- Establish, track, report, and improve KPI's that best affect throughput in all department business processes
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives
- Provide inspirational leadership to promote the company culture
- Work with team leads to examine financial data and use them to improve profitability
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of staff
- Find ways to increase the quality of customer service

**Reporting Structure**:

- You will be directly reporting to the CEO

**Experience and Skills**:

- Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field
- Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness, continuous improvement and operations management
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
- Leadership ability
- Familiarity with the interpretation of financial statements
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Excellent leadership, people management, communication, and influencing skills at a senior level.
- Strong budget development and oversight skills
- Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service
- Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes
- Working knowledge of management software programs, including NetSuite, QuickBooks, and CenterPoint Payroll
- Strong IT skills, including database development
- Multiple years of financial and account reporting

**Work Location and Schedule**:

- Monday-Friday from 02:00 AM to 10:00 AM (South African Standard Time) - During normal Australian hours
- Monday-Friday from 01:00 AM to 09:00 AM (South African Standard Time) - During Australian daylight hours (Daylight Saving).

**Salary**: From R52,000.00 per month
