- The responsibility of the Director: Legislation will be to create an enabling environment for effective and efficient administration of the Department of Public Service & Administration by rendering legal, and legislative services.
- The appointment Director: Legislation will be required to determine compliance with respect to the following legislative elements:

- Manage the delivery of legislative services
- Manage legislative oversight; write and review Public Administration laws
- Manage the Directorate’s operations, systems, and procedures.
- The objective is for the Department to create an enabling environment for effective and efficient Administration by rendering Legal, and Legislation Services.**Inherent Requirements**

**Requirements**:

- A senior Certificate and an appropriate B. Degree qualification of LLB or an undergraduate Degree in Law at a minimum of NQF level 7
- Registration as an Attorney/ Advocate.
- Minimum experience of 5 years’ at a Middle/Senior Management Level.
- Minimum of 8 years’ appropriate experience in a legislative environment
