**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate a skip truck (including drop-off and pick-up of skip bins) safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Ensure loads are secure and bins are correctly placed and handled.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers to coordinate skip deliveries and collections.
- Follow designated routes and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with road traffic laws, health & safety standards, and company policies.
- Complete all required paperwork and logbooks accurately.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle and site work areas.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Code 10 (C) or Code 14 (EC) South African Driver’s Licence with PDP.
- Proven experience operating skip trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles.
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift, move, and secure loads.
- Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Clear criminal record.
- Minimum of 8 years driving experience (preferably in waste/recycling industry).

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Experience in the waste management or recycling sector.
- Basic mechanical knowledge.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: R7 500,00 - R10 000,00 per month
