- Operations Department- Role and Responsibilities:
- Processing and arranging deliveries to customers
- Liaising with transporters and third party warehouses to expedite deliveries
- Detailed Job Specification:
- Updating customers on when deliveries will take place- Proforma Invoices & Quotations- Chasing existing customer sales that haven’t materialized- Working closely with the Sales Directors or executives for each region- Analyze monthly Sales reports and identify lost sales.- Arrange for samples for trialing purposes.- Follow ups on items which require feedback- Tracking and monitoring customer service.- Prepare Sales Contracts- Update Price Letters based on most recent pricing and distribute to relevant customers.- Capture SC & OC’s for Future dated orders- Update Customer data base with: Contact details etc.- Arrange direct deliveries for Sales Contract customers- Work with PROCUREMENT to arrange inter store transfers- Arrange local collections/deliveries (Supplier direct to Customer)- Updating 3rd party storage summary with delivery & contracts in storage.- Maintaining any internal spreadsheets- Assisting with ad-hoc office tasks or other team members-
