**Job Overview**
- The Export Controller will be required to coordinate with Export customers and local suppliers and transporters, arrange export customs entries and prepare the necessary exports documentation.
- The person will also verify and maintain records of outgoing goods, prepare goods for dispatch and arrange collection with the transporters.
- Administration of all exports of goods and ensure compliance to all organizational policies and procedures and monitor all financial and currency processes and transactions and manage all communication with export authorities for all countries. Internal Sales will be the first line of contact for any customer wanting to buy from company, and further be responsible to build and maintain solid relationships between his/her allocated customers and company

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Assisting customers with required quotations and orders
- Generating purchase orders
- Preparation of packing lists, bill of lading, Exports Invoices
- Liaison between clients, transporters and company
- Involved in stock take
- Source new clients and supply excellent service and feedback to current customers
- A basic understanding of reading drawings
- Continuous feedback to clients insofar progression of orders and delivery dates
- Develop meaningful relationship with customers and build a trust relationship with clients to ensure loyalty to GP
- Participate in lead generation strategies such as, cold calling, to identify viable business prospects
- Mediate conflict in situations where customers are disgruntled or unhappy with service, quality, price, and product to re-establish credibility and retain business
- Proactively engage customers regarding follow up and feedback on performance and quality
- Maintain a log of customer contact, outcome, and interaction as well as flagging issues of concern
- Collaborate with other departments to identify improvement on processes and product offering
- Encourage team members to be productive, positive attitude and demeanour to create a cohesive team environment
- Uphold standards of self-motivation, time management and productivity
- Ensure work area is clean, organized, and professional
- Assisting Sales Reps with all queries and admin
- Facilitate entire sales process from initiation of original contact to collection of payment
- Liaise with operations and dispatch to ensure that orders are delivered timeously
- Meet and exceed sales and profitability targets
- Report on Internal Sales activity monthly
- Understand and operate Glass Pro efficiently
- Input works orders correctly and in time as well as quote within maximum 24 hours
- Evaluating, adjusting, and managing internal sales pipeline
- Staying up to date with industry trends in our target market**Inherent Requirements**

**Minimum Requirements**
- Matric
- A qualification in marketing and / or sales management will be advantageous
- Previous Export administration experience essential
- An understanding of what documents are required for exports and the reason for the necessary documents
- Knowledge of International Trade
- Understanding of Taxation regulations
- Must speak English / Afrikaans
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong Telephone Skills
- Experience in the glass industry will be advantageous
- Demonstrated the ability to read, write and speak English
- Comfortable with multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Punctual with strong attendance history
- Hands-on approach and ability essential
- Strong communication and negotiation skill
