**purpose**:
To protect the bank by fulfilling and making informed decisions on Group screening, monitoring and reporting requirements in-line with segment risk appetite, thereby mitigating incidence of financial crimes against the business.
**experience and qualifications**:
- Minimum Qualification - Relevant Bachelors Degree (eg Law, Risk Management, Criminology, Finance/Accounting)
- Preferred Qualification - Certified through a formal Anti-Money Laundering (AML) progamme
- Experience - 3 to 5 years experience in a similar environment

**responsibilities**:
- Plan for value-added process improvements, initiatives and services to deliver on operational strategy and objectives and continuously review objectives and goals
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
- Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own and employee development
- Prevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
- Focus on providing optimal services and improving service delivery processes to meet or exceed customer expectations
- Ensure compliance to legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes
- Effect accurate client desirability decisions in line with Segment risk appetite
- Profile customers to determine business risk
- Ensure accurate decision making through quality reports in line with Client Desirability Risk Management (CDRM) standards
- Provide an administration service that meet time and quality standards and, includes reporting and updating of all relevant information
