**Job Description Summary**: The goal of the SSA Sourcing Leader is to lead a team responsible for the procurement of parts on legacy new built complex projects, to drive the localization of sourcing capabilities, to procure local services where required and to be accountable for all indirect sourcing procurement activities. Part of the role is to drive supplier strategic and transactional engagement, to drive contract negotiations, and to establish and monitor procurement metrics to maximize the procurement performance of the region. This role requires rigor and integrity to ensure that all processes are performed with the highest EHS, quality and compliance standards.

Finally, the SSA sourcing leader is required to foster a culture of Lean, to drive value creation and cost out / savings initiative whilst maintaining EHS and Quality to the highest standard. Our Sourcing Optimization strategy is a critical component that helps the business to continue to bring more value to our customers and suppliers

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Lead the SSA Sourcing organization to ensure optimum procurement of services, indirect sourcing, and local parts in accordance with the business requirement
- Manage local sourcing vendor commercial strategy, escalations, work across various stakeholders on key performance metrics
- Develop, anchor and execute supply strategies to drive key programs to achieve cost out targets and setting up supplier base, based on market and businesses needs
- Ensure usage of preferred supplier contracts in order to maximize results and to comply with the sourcing strategy
- Lead the local supply base towards an optimal total cost approach & overall efficiency in delivering long term sustainable profitable growth
- Negotiate agreements (e.g. supply agreements, confidentiality agreements)
- Identify localization volume consolidation opportunities across all sites and drive the focus to achieve larger volume of localized supply
- Drive close cooperation and alignment with site operational leaders to ensure implementation programs
- Collaborate closely with the Regional Parts Leader to ensure that the regional sourcing strategy is fully aligned with the global part supply strategy
- Implement sourcing excellence tools to help the sourcing teams to deliver on our commitment of EHS, Quality, compliance and cost efficiency using established lean tools
- Report to the regional leader on key initiatives, metrics, savings and give regular updates on overall sourcing strategy
- Cooperate with Fossil Operations Parts and ISD sourcing teams
- Deploying global sourcing standards, process, best practices

**Required Qualifications**
- Master degree or equivalent from an accredited University or College in Purchasing or Engineering or related Field
- Strong knowledge of complex projects
- Proven leadership with diverse team
- Knowledge of lean methodologies
- Minimum 7 years of Sourcing Management or equivalent leadership role
