**Simonsig Wines seeks to employ a Direct-to-Consumer: Private and Corporate individual to join their Local Sales Team.**

**Closing date: 13 September 2024**

**About the Role**:
The incumbent will play a pivotal role in crafting and nurturing relationships with our customers, and managing all aspects of our DTC sales channel, from sales to customer service and assisting with marketing.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales and Marketing**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive DTC marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Manage all DTC sales channels.
- Assist with marketing campaigns & briefing the team as required for promotions & communications.
- Represent our brand at wine events, tastings, and trade shows.

**Customer Service**:

- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a timely and professional manner.
- Build strong relationships with our customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.

**Inventory Management and Admin**:

- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for sales and prevent stockouts.
- Manage and update Simonsig’s _Commerce 7_ online store: sales, promotions, wine & merchandise stock.
- Manage Meridian DTC Warehouse direct-to-customer sales - customer queries, purchase orders, monthly stock consignment reports.
- Manage Commerce 7 data integration with Ezy Wine.
- General administration linked to the role.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in the wine industry, with a focus on DTC sales and marketing.
- Strong knowledge of wine cultivars.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for wine and a strong understanding of the industry.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and e-commerce platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent administrative skills.
- Own car and willingness to travel.
