The **Corporate Placement Broker** position exits within the Western Cape Placement Team. The position offers an exciting challenge and career opportunity for someone who is willing to work hard and contribute to growth and development.

**What can you expect?**
- Broking Services
- Attending strategy meetings and/or renewal meetings
- Preparation / Finalization of Broking documentation
- Identification and selection of appropriate markets
- Distribution of Broking Notes to the market
- Negotiating with Markets and structuring deals
- Implementation of placement strategy on high complexity accounts
- Collation of market terms and quotes for submission to client services
- Preparation / Finalization of Placing Slips
- Closings to markets / obtaining market confirmation of cover
- Confirm final placement / changes and Endorsements
- Preparation of other broking documentation as required

**We will count on you to have**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in short-term insurance and/or commercial and/or corporate insurance broking.
- FAIS, RE, and CPD compliant
- Knowledge of the principles of risk management
- Knowledge of the mechanics of reinsurance
- Diploma in Insurance or commenced studying towards AIISA an advantage
- Insurer relationships an advantage
- Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Conversant with insurance legislation
