**Warehouse Supervisor**

This person is responsible for overseeing the general operations of the warehouse and its staff.

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within prescribed deadlines. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations.

**Responsibilities**
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee's performance.
- Responsible for regular stock counts and inventory checks
- Upkeep of warehouse space and tidiness to ensure efficient warehouse flow and security of high value goods.
- Maintain system BIN locations for inventory.
- Ensure accurate and efficient picking of orders.
- Communicate job expectations and coach employees.
- Oversee and coordinate tasks in warehouse to ensure efficient workflow.
- Prioritise available resources to required work areas based on workload and deadlines.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.
- Ensure compliance requirements for stock is completed and maintained.
- Manage stationery and packaging materials.
- Planning of daily deliveries, and most efficient routes for daily trips.
- Complete weekly checks with drivers on vehicles and report any faults.
- Communicate errors, additional operational requirements and workflow suggestions to Operations Manager.
- Provide monthly staff KPA reports to Operations Manager

**Requirements and skills**
- Minimum Grade-12, tertiary education beneficial
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
- Strong leadership skills
- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
