**Responsibilities**:

- ** Install, maintain, and repair solar electrical systems, including solar panels, inverters, batteries, and associated components.**:

- ** Perform electrical wiring and connections for solar installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.**:

- ** Conduct site assessments to determine feasibility and suitability for solar installations.**:

- ** Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in solar systems, and implement effective solutions.**:

- ** Ensure proper grounding and safety measures are followed during installations and maintenance.**:

- ** Complete and issue Certificates of Compliance (COC) for installed systems.**:

- ** Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of projects.**:

- ** Provide leadership and guidance to junior technicians, apprentices, and other team members.**:

- ** Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.**:

- ** Comply with all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.**

**Requirements**:

- ** 4-5 years of electrical experience, including experience with low voltage systems.**:

- ** Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in home solar or commercial solar installations.**:

- ** Ability to issue Certificates of Compliance (COC) is essential.**:

- ** Valid driver's license is required.**:

- ** Strong leadership skills and the ability to provide guidance to team members.**:

- ** Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.**:

- ** Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.**:

- ** Ability to work independently and efficiently.**:

- ** Good communication and interpersonal skills.**:

- ** Flexibility to work late hours during the week, as required.**:

- ** Must be willing to leave the company-provided bakkie at the office and not take it home.
