**PV SOLAR TECHNICAL LEADER**

**Introduction**:
Our international client in the Energy sector is looking for a zealous and proactive **P**V SOLAR TECHNICAL LEADER **to lead a team of electricians, technicians, and site design personnel to complete multiple tasks related to ensuring proficient installation and maintenance standards.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree/ BSc in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering,

Automation or equivalent qualification.
- Masters or Post-graduate degree in related fields will be beneficial.
- Must be qualified as an Electrician & PV Green card and 3-phase wireman’s license - Essential.
- Registered as Electrical Installation Contractor by DOL.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a managerial /supervisory role
- Essential.
- Solid experience in Solar and Energy Storage and in Commercial & Industry (CNI) space.
- Strong Technical knowledge and skills in PV and electrical design software’s e.g., ETAP, MATLAB, PVSYST, Helioscope and any other relevant software - Essential.
- Familiar with the design and analysis of power electrical system and able to sort out tripping and potential safety hazards.
- Able to adapt to a certain amount of travel and on-site technical support work.
- Ability to read and understand English technical documentation.
- Advanced computer literacy.

**Primary duties**:

- Lead a team of electricians and technicians to complete installations with a high standards consciousness.
- Provide technical support calls and compile technical reports.
- Assist electrical sub-contractors to install products correctly and commission products in accordance with specifications.
- Assess and maintain existing products or systems.
- Reviewing audit reports and site design to make sure it’s reasonable, compliant and it conforms to installation standards.
- Conduct quality assurance assessments from time to time and report back to the delivery team.
- Assist customers and subcontractors with technical support queries.
- Ensure all documentation and recording of work is completed to a high standard.

**Salary**: Market related
