Pv Solar Electrician

**Summary of Position**:
This role enables us to deliver electrical services and installations to our clients with a standard of excellence and in compliance with the relevant legislative requirements

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Carry out installation of solar PV systems according to design and single line diagram, including electrical wiring, mounting of inverters and panels, testing, installation of main switches and other standard commercial and residential electrical work
- Complete jobs cards
- Fault finding on AC and DC circuits
- Will be a team leader and need to work well within a team

- During any installations, ensuring efficient, safe, and quality work with adherence to companys high standard of installation, best practice, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct site visits to ensure all pre-installation requirements are met
- Work directly with company staff, contractors, consultants, and partners, providing pre/post-sales support, training and advice on solar PV design and installation requirements and standards
- Monitor and assess quality of solar PV installations carried out by company installers and contractors, including regular desktop and on-site audits of installations
- Identify (e.g., picking lists) products/components required for commercial projects
- Remain up to date with requirements and best practice relating to solar PV design and installations and implement changes when necessary to ensure installations meet standards
- Experience in a wide range of equipment i.e., Kodak, Victron, Sunsynk, Deye, Hubble, Solar MD etc
- Help develop documentation, manuals, and best practice guidelines
- Adhere to all health and safety requirements
- Conformance with relevant Codes and Standards
- Issuing COC document after completion of installation

- Report any deviations that could lead to an accident
- Participate in Safety Training to improve safety standards
- Report incidents and accidents before the end of a shift
- Adhere to the Company's Health and Safety policy and procedure
- Look after your own safety and that of other employees
- Ensure that the SHEQ Management System requirements are met towards customer, internal, ISO, regulatory / legal requirements.
- Manage and perform all internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the Organization's products.
- Work with Customers, Colleagues and Contractors towards continual improvement of the Management system and report the need for improvement to Management.
- Keep up standards and regulations with respect to Products and Services

**Job Requirements**:

- Qualified Red Seal Electrician with minimum period of 3 years experience in the PV field with installations
- Qualified Wireman
- Current registration with Department of Labour
- Current registration with EAC
- PV Green Card or similar training
- Working at Heights certificate
- Drivers license
