**Job Title: Business Account Manager Intern**

**Role Description**:
As a Business Account Manager Intern, you will support the Account Managers in driving sales and revenue growth for telecommunications products targeting small and medium businesses. Your primary focus will be to assist in relationship building, lead generation, and sales strategy implementation. This role is ideal for a motivated and results-driven individual eager to gain hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry and develop essential client management skills.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Grade 12 qualification.
- Currently studying towards a National Diploma in Business Management or Marketing Management.
- Clear ITC (Credit) record.
- Clear criminal record.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Driver’s licence and own vehicle (advantageous).
- **NB**: Only students who require practical, experiential learning within an organisation to gain their qualification will be shortlisted for the position.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lead Generation and Prospecting**:

- Assist in identifying and targeting potential SMB clients.
- Support the Account Managers in utilising various channels to generate leads and schedule meetings with prospects.
- **Sales Support**:

- Participate in the preparation of sales presentations and demonstrations for SMB clients.
- Help conduct needs assessments and gather relevant client information to support Account Managers in consultative selling.
- **Client Relationship Management**:

- Aid in building relationships between customers and Account Managers, ensuring effective communication and trust.
- Assist in managing relationships with prospects and clients, ensuring timely follow-up and communication.
- **Marketing**:

- Distribute product information to existing and potential customers to promote awareness and engagement.
- Collaborate with Account Managers in the development of marketing strategies tailored to SMB clients.
- **Sales Pipeline Management**:

- Help maintain and update the sales pipeline, tracking leads and reporting on progress.
- Learn to utilise CRM systems for managing leads and client interactions.
- **Admin Tasks**:

- Support the team with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the sales process.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, feedback, and other relevant activities.
- **Feedback and Reporting**:

- Provide feedback to the Account Managers and your supervisor regarding client needs, market trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in conducting and presenting reports on sales activities to track progress and inform strategy adjustments.
- **Market Research**:

- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to provide insights that inform sales strategies and enhance our approach to clients.
- **Compliance and Training**:

- Support adherence to company policies and procedures, including compliance regulations and ongoing training.
- Participate in relevant training sessions to stay updated on telecommunications products and services.

**Salary**: R7,500 per month

**Job Type**: Internship (Full-time)
