**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that the department delivers a consistently high standard of client service. Also, achieve business objectives and maximise the profitability of all outlets. Maintain effective cost controls in all areas.
- Plan and direct the main operations including quality, standards, cleanliness, client satisfaction.
- Work alongside Director to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations.
- Be responsible for maximising profit through the consistent delivery of the highest standard of service.
- Be responsible for all the day-to-day queries, complaints or problems that arise in the business.
- Monitor the event bookings.
- Promote a positive employee relations culture through effective communication and regular team meetings.
- Manage and schedule service staff for events.
- On-the-day staff management at various events after hours and weekends.
- Manage sales and client invoices.
- Maintain and build client relationships in the events and hospitality industry.
- Facilitate hospitality and event training when required.

**Requirements**:
Good knowledge of events and hospitality industry.

Strong organisational skills.

Good people skills.

Ability to work under pressure and with difficult clients.

Ability to work on various projects at a time.

Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.

Ability to meet strict deadlines.

Excellent administrative skills and knowledge of Xero, Microsoft office and iOS systems.

**Qualifications**:

- Hospitality
- or Events Coordination qualification is advantageous.

**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Somerset West, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
