As Pragma accelerates the growth and valuation of its On Key software platform, we are seeking a strategic and technically astute Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive the product’s long-term vision, architecture, and team capability.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- A minimum of a tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A post-grad/MBA is advantageous.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in senior technology leadership roles as a Chief Technology Officer.
- Experience preparing product companies for funding or investor evaluations is highly advantageous.
- Proven experience scaling enterprise software platforms with recurring revenue models.
- Deep technical expertise across architecture, software development, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong leadership capability in restructuring teams, building cultures of delivery, and navigating change.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Vision, Strategy & Investor Readiness.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define a bold, achievable vision for On Key’s technology evolution and ARR growth.
- Shape and articulate the On Key technology and development.
- Ensure On Key’s technical strategy, infrastructure, and team maturity align with investor expectations for valuation and due diligence.
- Identify, assess and implement mitigation plans for key technical risks associated with the product.
- Technology & Product Leadership.
- Provide direct leadership and business management for key functional teams, including:

- Architecture - Guide strategic architectural decisions and UI modernisation initiatives.
- Software Development - Ensure roadmap delivery and scalable, agile development practices.
- Quality Assurance - Drive improvements in automation, release velocity, and test coverage.
- Maintenance and Integration - Maintenance of commercially available products, and development and support of integration solutions.
- Hosting & Technical Support - Oversee cloud readiness, seamless deployment, SLA adherence, and end-user support excellence.
- Embed engineering best practices across the SDLC and reduce overreliance on key individuals.
- Drive data-driven performance and delivery transparency across technical functions.
- Organisational Design & Succession Planning.
- Define the future-fit structure for the On Key technical team that supports scale, agility, and innovation.
- Mentoring of high-potential individuals in the team.
- Team Culture & Delivery Enablement.
- Drive high employee engagement levels and break down siloed thinking within the development team and the teams they interact with
- Establish a high-trust, feedback-driven team culture focused on ownership, performance, and learning.
- Improve milestone attainment and foster greater alignment between product vision and delivery outcomes.
