Can you solve pets' problems without getting exhausted by their parents?

Are you kind and not easily rattled? Are you a knowledgeable receptionist that can unearth the cause behind a pet parent's pain point?

Then you could be our new Front Desk Receptionist

YOU WOULD NEED TO...
- Answer client queries daily, patiently helping our (sometimes uneducated) pet parents
- Manage the practice diary by using your technical skills
- Perform a diverse range of administrative duties

YOU'LL KNOW THIS JOB IS FOR YOU IF YOU:

- Want to work at a family practice, with a close-knit team and an array of adorable dogs and cats
- Take pride in thorough patient management to keep them happy and healthy
- Want to make a difference in people's and pet's lives

THIS POSITION IS NOT FOR YOU IF YOU:

- Are interested in large animal practice
- Are easily affected by other people's emotions or tend to take things personally
- Prefer a corporate setting where roles are set in stone and you will never have to help in other areas

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN OUR NEW TEAM MEMBER:

- You're a fast learner, like technology and are confident you'll get to grips with the protocols we use
- You're able to work independently and take responsibility for getting things done
- You always consider the consequences of your actions carefully. We need to be able to trust our precious patients and their parents into your care and oversight
- You have really good communication skills. You need to explain things clearly and tactfully to people who overstep boundaries
- Bonus: If you have a strong interest in management, you’ll be a great addition to our team

We’re based in Gardens and you will be expected to be on time for your shifts. This is a full-time role.
