**Job Advert Summary**:
**Minimum Requirements**:

- Degree in Food Science or equivalent
- Administration background
- 5 to 7 year’s meat processing experience
- 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Set daily/hourly production targets in accordance with the overall weekly production plan pre-approved by sales and marketing.
- Follow up on start-up procedure and handing over from cleaning team to production, chemical, packaging, and brine usage.
- Monitor and report performance on production target plan.
- Direct changes required to balance the floor and prioritise production accordingly.
- Implement corrective actions on any deviations on the plan. Communicate new confirmed production required by sales and marketing to production floor.
- Communication with logistic managers in any delays that might jeopardise the throughput.
- Ensure technical requirements on injectors, FFS auto packer and all scales are met to specifications as provided by technician team.
- Ensure that food safety and quality standards and practices are maintained.
- Loss control on production lines from Receiving, to final product into Dispatch section. Brine and packaging wastage. Chemicals, packaging, and brine usage.
- Ensure GHP and GMP implemented on the premises to comply with Company standards and Customer requirements
- Monitor work attendance, and ensure that health, and safety requirements have been dealt with as per protocol.
- Monitor Shift Managers actions on employee leave programme and training requirements.
- Ensure that rosters are updated accordingly by training department.
- Maintain good employee relationships up and down to floor level.
- Maintain general discipline and address uncontrolled absenteeism.
- Verify that KPI’s are performed as per Customer standard and requirement.
- Ensure effective communication within section and a clear understanding on requirements
- Rotation of HOD’S and Supervisors with required practical training online to groom them for future promotions.
- Online evaluation on KPI’s and standard as per specifications for QSR demands.
- Accurate recording of packaging used and waste.
- Electronical capture and traceability.
- Confirm production plan with quality, stores, and dispatch.
- Spot checks on gate clocking, and registers. Follow up on, no recordings and irregularly attendance.
- Verify overtime requests and do spot checks on overtime claimed.
- Monitor disciplinary actions and consult with HR. Initiate and chairing of disciplinary hearings.
- Communicate major break downs to General Manager and Engineer. Consult with relevant departments on production schedule amendments.
